About This Ensemble

The Color Guard offers two participation tracks to welcome performers of all experience levels.

Non-Audition Track: Performs alongside the Marching/Pep Band using flags only. No prior color guard experience required. Routines are designed to be learned in a limited number of rehearsals.

Audition Track: An advanced group performing to recorded music using auxiliary equipment, including air blades. This track requires a digital audition submission. Routines are choreographed at a higher difficulty level for experienced performers.Both tracks perform at the Seattle Center Pep Rally on Friday afternoon.

Music & Programming

The non-audition track will perform 2-3 charts alongside the Marching/Pep Band. The audition track will perform 2 independent choreographed routines with amplified recorded music, plus integrated appearances with the full ensemble.

Music packets will be sent to all participants in late May to early June 2027, approximately 45 days before the conference.

Audition Information

At Registration Select your preferred track — Non-Audition or Audition — during online registration. Non-audition participants are accepted automatically.

August 2026 Audition track materials and video submission instructions distributed to interested participants in August 2026.

TBD Acceptance notifications sent to audition track applicants. Track assignments confirmed for all participants.
