About This Ensemble
The Concert Band is the anchor ensemble of the 2027 Pride Bands Alliance Conference. All registered participants are welcome — no audition required. You will be placed into one of two full ensembles: the Emerald Band or the Sapphire Band, each performing a program of 4–5 works at Benaroya Hall's Taper Auditorium. Programming reflects our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion — featuring works by women, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and historically underrepresented composers, including world premieres of commissioned works.

Music & Programming
Each band will perform 4–5 compositions selected by the Conference Artistic Committee. Music selections prioritize works by underrepresented composers and will include at least one world premiere. Participants will receive their music packets in late May to early June 2027.
